College of the Siskiyous Library in Weed Lists Fall Hours and Technology Lending

WEED, Calif. — College of the Siskiyous maintains a campus library with research assistance and technology lending intended to support students throughout the semester. Its official library page lists services including textbook checkouts, laptops, calculators, research help and library micro-courses.

What are the regular fall hours?

The library lists Monday–Thursday, 8 a.m.–5 p.m., and Friday, 8 a.m.–4 p.m., with weekends closed. However, the college announced a separate campus closure beginning October 30 because of a water-main failure. Students should not assume regular library hours override an institution-wide emergency closure. Verify reopening and any temporary service arrangements before traveling.

Can community members use the facility?

The library website identifies services for students, faculty and community members, but specific borrowing privileges and technology loans can vary by affiliation. Prospective users should confirm their eligibility, library-card requirements and available equipment.
